My go-to green juice on a busy day

You are having a super busy day, running around and have a million things to do… You don’t have time to cook and healthy food is either very expensive or not always around.

It’s easy to just grasp whatever you can find to still your hunger while you’re so busy tackling your to-do list. 

The solution!

My life-saving green juice… It’s easy to make, tastes good and full of nutrition to not only rescue you when the hunger kicks in but also to give you energy and boost your brain with all of its health benefits!

  • 1 (frozen) banana
  • 1/2 cup of spinach
  • couple of slices of cucumber
  • 1 cm cube of ginger
  • 1tbsp chia seeds
  • tiny teaspoon of spirulina (optional)
  • lemon juice (to your own taste, leave it out if you like your juice sweeter)
  • water or nut milk to blend with

What’s so good about this recipe?

It’s not only full of goodness but you can also mix and replace the ingredients the way YOU like it. 

The lemon & ginger combination helps with weight loss and it has a detox effect.

Add more banana or leave out the lemon juice to make it sweeter.

More options: add celery, replace the spinach by kale, use coconut water, add other superfoods,…

If you use frozen bananas the drink will be thicker. Also a good way to not waste your overripe bananas. Just freeze them!


To save even more time, make the juices in bulk. Make multiple at the same time and keep them in the fridge for not only today but also tomorrow and the day after. Winning!
